On 4-5 October, our team took part in the World Passenger Festival for the second time, this time in Vienna.
This time, the format of the event did not provide for presentations at the forum, but gave us the opportunity to establish a variety of contacts and organise meetings with key representatives of the public transport industry in Europe and beyond. We made the most of this opportunity.
In particular, we held meetings and negotiations with Christoph Wittmann (ÖBB-Postbus GmbH) and Vincent Neumayer (Wiener Linien), who liked our solution and discussed the possibilities of its practical application for public transport in Austria.
We also had a friendly meeting with old acquaintances from Smart Ticketing Alliance (STA) in the person of Ralph Gambetta and discussed co-operation in search of partners to implement our project in one of the European cities.
This is just a small part of the meetings, talks and attendance at numerous presentations and discussions that filled our days at the event.
These were very interesting days spent amongst industry colleagues and like-minded people who are just as committed to making public transport in Europe even more convenient, environmentally friendly and safe.
Goodbye Vienna, we hope to see you in a year’s time.
